The Ohio Artline is a quarterly publication for the members of the Ohio
Art Education Association. It covers organizational business,
announcements, honors and special reports on current arts education in
Ohio.

Article Submission:
All members who hold OAEA leadership positions: Executive
Committee, Regional Directors and Division Chairs are invited to submit
quarterly articles for publication. See “Article
Information Sheet” for submission guidelines.
Teacher Features: Every issue an OAEA Region is invited to
Feature a Teacher from their region. See “Teacher
Feature Guidelines & Schedule” for more information.
Artful Thoughts Articles: This section of the Ohio Artline was
created for OAEA members to have a voice in the publication. Is there a
project, idea or topic you would like to write about and share? Articles
are limited to 800 words or less and can include digital images.
Announcements: OAEA Members are welcome to share information
about art education events happening around Ohio.
Submitting Student Artwork:
Publish your students' artwork! Artwork is needed for every issue of
Artline. The OAEA is proud of our members and the student art they
facilitate in the classroom. Share your work with other OAEA members and
have it published in an issue.
Guidelines:
- Please submit artwork and photos digitally. All photos and
digital artwork must be in jpg format and large enough in size and
resolution to be enlarged to 8 x 10”.
- Work will be used at the Editor’s discretion and as space
allows.
- Please use an understandable system for crediting your digital
photo attachments.
- Label each artwork and corresponding picture (in email) with:
Student Name, Grade Level, Media, Teacher, School, and Region

Spring Issue March 20th
Summer Issue May 15th
Fall Issue August 29th (note change*)

The OAEA welcomes any business or organization
supporting art education at the state and national level to
advertise in our quarterly publication. Please review the digital
advertising packet for more information, pricing, order forms and
instructions.
Not an OAEA member or advertiser and want to submit information?
Submit informational blurbs in 300 words or less, these articles are
priced per issue and inclusion is left to the editor’s discretion.
